I LOVE photography and actually love it with passion so creating a site for the best dslr camera was a no brainer. I have spent a lot of time and effort in doing the research and have listed the results below for the best dslr camera . I really wish you fall in love with your passion and I hope nothing but beauty comes out of every picture you take. So let’s begin our journey:

Best Dslr Camera Winner: Canon EOS Rebel T3i (with 18-55mm IS II lens)

This camera is a slight upgrade from the Rebel T2i, which already shares many of the features of mid-level cameras yet still keeps a low price tag and clearly the best dslr camera. This is what makes it perfect for the beginner! This camera is rated #1 of all cameras on Amazon.com with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars and is highly rated for beginners on other review sites such as cnet. The best dslr camera features:

18 megapixel sensor

63-zone exposure metering system

high ISO range and performance

HD movie capabilities

Digic 4 image processor leading to greater speed of processing

Built-in flash so you don’t have to buy it separately

Good depth of field in images

Great auto-modes which can detect the type of scene and adjust settings accordingly

Auto-focus

Articulating, swivel LCD screen

Small and lightweight

Eye-fi allows you to upload your photos to your computer straight from the camera without plugging in!

This is the camera my best friend ended up purchasing to have before her baby is born. She loves how user friendly, fast and how beautiful her pictures come out and in her opinion also the best dslr camera. She brags about the big LCD display screen and claims the battery lasts quite a while! There is a great kit of lenses too that are a good introduction into their use. She also loves how clear the HD video is and uses it to film her and her husband on trips and at events making it easily the best dslr camera. She only complains that it is bulkier than her old digital camera, which is going to happen no matter which brand you go with.

Best Dslr Camera Runner-Up: Canon EOS Rebel T2i (with 18-55mm lens)

If you want to save a bit of money, you can consider downgrading from the Rebel T3i to the Rebel T2i as it is the runner up for the best dslr camera. Some of the only differences are that it does not have a swivel screen or the wireless flash triggering. The T2i still offers all the professional features of the Canon line including the 18.0-megapixel image sensor and increased light sensitivity for low light photography. The Rebel T2i also has an advanced HD Movie mode for gorgeous Full HD movies, just like the T3i which I have recommend as best dslr camera. It has been rated highly on amazon with ratings matching the T3i and has been rated runner up on cnet as well.

Again, this is a great camera for anyone starting up as it is user friendly, has many auto features and has many of the quality features of higher-end models at a lower price for runner up for best dslr camera! It offers solid performance and user reliability. It has been tried and tested by thousands of buyers and the reviews really do say its a great buy. Since my friend did decide to go with the slightly upgraded model and we know this has been awesome, we know that this model will most likely be very similar and for a better price tag.

Summary of the Features for Best Dslr Camera runner up: (source:amazon)

18.0-megapixel sensor; DIGIC 4 image processor for high image quality and speed

Kit includes 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens

ISO 100-6400 (expandable to 12800) for shooting from bright to dim light; enhanced 63-zone, Dual-layer metering system

EOS Movie mode with manual exposure control and expanded recording 1920 x 1080 (Full HD)

Wide 3.0-inch Clear View LCD monitor; dedicated Live View/Movie shooting button

New compatibility with SDXC memory cards, plus menu status indicator for Eye-Fi support

The downfall to this camera is that it is not amazing at shooting burst, sports or motion shots such as with running kids or pets making it 2nd runner up for best dslr camera. If this is the focus of your hobby, I would recommend getting a camera with a larger sensor. Also, it is somewhat difficult to shoot video because of the cameras weight. Buyers have complained that this is slightly awkward. For this, I would recommend using a tripod to help with stability to add to best dslr camera runner up. These downfalls are nothing though when you compare the price to the functionality!

Best Dslr Camera Second Runner Up: Nikon D5000 (with 18-55mm lens)

Going into a different brand now, NIKON is another reliable and well-known DSLR maker and is the 2nd runner up for the best dslr camera. The Nikon D5000 has a very simple and easy-to-use interface for new users and is best for shooting stills. The lens that it comes with in the kit is a great starting point and this camera has been rated quite highly again by buyers on amazon and on cnet. People are raving about the speed and quality of the camera and images and say that it is a great buy for the price for 2nd runner up for best dslr camera. For example, this camera is great for party photos in that it is excels in low light and has low noise levels. Buys recommend turning up the picture sharpness to between 5 and 8, up from the factory settings of 2 to 4. It is also lightweight and less bulky than other higher-end models.

Summary of Features for Best Dslr Camera 2nd runner up : (Source: amazon )

·12.3-megapixel DX-format CMOS image sensor

·Outfit includes the 3x AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens with image stabilization

·D-Movie Mode with sound; record 720p HD movie clips

·Vari-angle color 2.7-inch swivel LCD monitor; one-button Live View

·Continuous shooting mode at 4 frames per second

·Capture images to SD/SDHC memory cards (not included)

·19 setting auto-modes are great for beginners

·Auto-focusing

·High ISO range, great for low-light

·Image sensor auto-cleaning

·In-camera editing system

The cons of this camera include that it is a little more expensive than the Canon models yet offers similar features that are in the best dslr camera. Also, like other beginner models, this camera is not great at shooting moving images such as sports, kids and pets.

The Best DSLR Camera In conclusion:

As we have seen, there are many reasons to switch to using a DSLR camera rather than a simple point and shoot. The picture quality is just so much better! Especially if you are just starting out, I highly recommend investing in a camera that has been tried and tested and which has high reviews such as the Canon T3i as it is the best dslr camera. My friend just loves this camera and has been shooting some of the most beautiful and captivating images with it including one special picture of her cousin with her various musical instruments surrounding her!

The DSLR truly is magical and people appreciate looking at your pictures a lot more when they are high in quality like this. Purchasing online is a great option in that it allows you to read reviews, the product is shipped right to your house and you know it is in stock! I hope you enjoyed the Best Dslr Camera blog and I will be posting again soon about more advanced level cameras!

Are you looking for a new and exciting hobby and need to find the best dslr camera? Are you tired of your pictures looking drab, out of focus, 2 dimensional and lacking depth of field? Do you want to capture precious memories in a way that when you look back you will be captivated by your own photos? If so, then it may be time to upgrade from your old, regular digital camera, to a Digital SLR Camera, or DSLR. But how do you know what the best dslr camera ?

More than ever now, regular folks who start from nothing can become amazing photographers if they just have the best dslr camera. Learning the rules and techniques of photographic design comes second to having great, high quality camera equipment and this starts with the DSLR Camera itself.

This blog came about after helping my best friend, a newly married young woman who was pregnant with her first child, start up a hobby of hers, photography. Growing up in a rural community near lakes and rivers, she had always loved snapping pictures of nature, her pets and her family and friends. After getting married, she was completely captivated by the photography that was produced by the awesome photographer couple she hired to follow her on her big day. Upon learning of her pregnancy, it became her goal to get herself up and running with her photography hobby, and this started by us researching the best dslr camera.

Best DSLR Camera blog summarizes:

Why DSLR cameras are the best on the market, especially for beginners and novices.

What to look for in the best DSLR camera, and The top 3 best selling, recommended and reviewed cameras for each level of photography hobbyist.

The Best DSLR Camera: Reasons to get a DSLR Camera

If you are on the fence about whether or not to invest in the best DSLR camera, here are the benefits to upgrading (and there really are only benefits!):

Best DSLR Camera Benefit #1 : Quality of the Image: The number one reason why people upgrade, the most commonly thought about is the greater quality of image that the best DSLR camera produces. The larger image sensors in DSLRs allor for greater pixel density, meaning that when you upload your images onto the computer, you will be able to zoom in with an increased clarity and your image will not have that pixelated squares effect. The ISO, or the sensitivity of the image sensor material is high which adds to the ability to take images in low-light settings at higher quality. Also, this high sensitivity reduces effects of movement when taking pictures. Most of these cameras offer auto-modes too for beginners which automatically adjust the exposure time for the current light quality.

Best DSLR Camera Benefit #2: Depth of Field: As I mentioned before, this is something that really no other digital camera can do. For those of you who do not know, depth of field gives images that sort of 3D appearance in which one object is in focus while the rest of the image is slightly blurry. This function is because of the variety and quality of the camera lenses and something that the best dslr camera brings to the table.

Best DSLR Camera Benefit #3:Variability and Adaptability: With a DSLR you can shoot a huge variety of image types including nature, portraits, close-up, artistic, abstract, motion capture and even HD video. This is because of the number of lenses, the ability to control shutter speeds and exposure times, the ability to add flashes and filters and the greater ISO sensitivity.

Best DSLR Camera Benefit #4: Viewfinder Screen: unlike traditional high quality cameras, DSLRs have a viewfinder that allow you to see pretty much exactly what your picture will turn out like.

Best DSLR Camera Benefit #5: Speed of Functioning: These cameras allow you to take multiple images, quickly such as a time series photo or motion capture shot. Also, their computing functions are quicker than other digital cameras making it easier for you to quickly capture those memories!

Best DSLR Camera Benefit #6: Lens Quality: Unlike other digital cameras, you can add extremely high quality lenses to DSLR cameras. If you can afford it, I would highly recommend investing in these as they really add to the versatility, image quality and can give you really cool effects.

When is a DSLR not for you:

A DSLR is not for you if you just want to take pictures casually, at parties, or in extreme conditions as it is heavier, bulkier and harder to store/carry. Also, if photography is not a hobby or a passion, you will likely find that the purchase was a waste of money and is expensive to maintain or expand on. Also, if you find it really hard to learn how to use new technologies, you may want to start off with a simple point and shoot digital camera so that you can get used to the functioning as at this point you may want to stay away from the best dslr camera.

What to Look for in the Best DSLR Camera?

Best DSLR Camera Tip 1: Level of Expertise: The first thing you want to consider is how much experience you have with photography and using digital devices. If you are just starting out, there are a number of cameras with more automatic functions which are more user friendly, which I will recommend to you in the final recommendation section. The more professional cameras offer more obscure functions such as noise reduction and image stability which you can make do without if you are just starting out.

Best DSLR Camera Tip #2: Price: The next thing you want to consider is how much you want to spend. It is not just the camera you need to spend on, but also the accessories and lenses. The following additions will be extra in cost and you should try to find deals which combine these features to save you money:

◦ Lenses

◦ Batteries

◦ Filters, e.g. UV filter

◦ Extended Warranty

◦ Tripods

◦ Camera cases and bags

◦ Camera straps

◦ Memory cards – the higher quality images require more memory than other cameras, a 1GB card at least is required.

◦ Screen protectors

◦ HDMI cables

◦ Flashes

◦ Editing software such as Adobe Photoshop etc.

Best DSLR Camera Tip #3: Size: The size and weight of the camera are useful to consider if you are a traveller. Choose the lightest camera that offers the most functions and bring only your favourite lenses that you will need with you on trips.

Best DSLR Camera Tip #4: Resolution: Megapixels are useful for when you bring your image onto the computer to do enlargement or editing. They don’t really affect the quality or look of the image. This is more affected by the lens and sensor size.

Best DSLR Camera Tip #5: Sensor Size: The larger the better. But this makes them more expensive.

Best DSLR Camera Tip #6: Accessory Availability: Look at how many accessories are available. For example, Canon brand is well established and has over 30 compatible lenses.

Best DSLR Camera Tip #7: Cool and Unique Features: this is my favourite part about looking into what a camera can do that is unique or interesting. These features range from anti-shake features, dust protection, auto-modes, burst or action modes, resolution adjustment, colour analysis, scene analysis, continuous shooting modes and flash modes.
